October is here with lots of opportunities for sewing and saving! There are all sorts of bundles available with the purchase of many of our machines so stop in and check them out!
Make sure to follow us on Facebook at Sewing Centre of Lincoln for all sorts of updates and reminders of upcoming events, sales, and classes. There are still some snafus with receiving our email newsletter but we're still trying to get everyone in the loop! In the meantime, if you have a friend who didn’t get the newsletter, forward the message to them and spread the word that if they’re not getting the newsletter it can always be found on the homepage of our website. And let them them know to go to the website to sign up for the newsletter and then make sure to check all the email folders to make sure it didn’t end up in junk/spam. If it did, the message needs to get moved to the inbox before it will let you click confirm that you want to get our emails.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for all of our First Anniversary events! We had lots of guests come to hear from Connie Fanders of Bernina, Rhonda Pierce with Schmetz, and joined us for a Liberty of London themed tea party! We're sew excited to see what year two has in store for all!

October 2026 - Basic Building Block: Applique
In Creator level, create Shadow Applique using the Digitize Applique Tool to create an heirloom pillow. Learn how to play with density and thread for embroidering on delicate fabrics.
In DesignerPlus, create an applique design from start to finish using Advanced Applique and the CutWork Accessory or a cutting machine.

What Machine(s) Is This Club Made For?
All BERNINA machines! The majority of the content can be done in a Large Oval or Midi Hoop to ensure that all machines can do the project provided. There will be options for doing projects with bigger hoops, and we will discuss incredible BERNINA features and how they make every project easier. Many projects may even be completed with a bernette embroidery machine, though some of the featured accessories may not be available.
Don't yet own a BERNINA? You may also be able to complete many of the projects and are encouraged to join the club to learn more about embroidery.
August - Quilting
In this lesson, you’ll learn how to use computerized quilting to finish your quilts or add texture to various projects.
Q-Club gives you a preview into the latest & greatest in the quilting world.
