July is here and there are sew many reasons to celebrate - 250 years worth to be exact! As always, there are great classes coming up to expand your sewing, serging, and quilting skill sets! If you still need to do some celebratory Independence Day stitching we've got lots of patriotic kits, fat quarters, patterns and fabric in the shop to pick up! We will be closed on Saturday, July 4 so all can celebrate this momentous birthday of our country!
We'll have a mid-month update, too, when the new Bernina specials come out following the conclusion of Bernina University.
Make sure to follow us on Facebook at Sewing Centre of Lincoln for all sorts of updates and reminders of upcoming events, sales, and classes. There are still some snafus with receiving our email newsletter but we are making progress! In the meantime, if you have a friend who didn’t get the newsletter, forward the message to them and spread the word that if they’re not getting the newsletter it can always be found on the homepage of our website. And let them them know to go to the website to sign up for the newsletter and then make sure to check all the email folders to make sure it didn’t end up in junk/spam. If it did, the message needs to get moved to the inbox before it will let you click confirm that you want to get our emails.

We will have 3 different patterns that you can choose from to make your earrings!! Bring some scraps from your stash, coordinating thread to "quilt" your earrings with and a small piece of medium weight iron on interfacing. Do not forget your sewing machine and sewing supplies, including a point turner to help turn our earrings once we have them constructed. An optional notion is Add-a-quarter ruler to help with your paper piecing.

What Machine(s) Is This Club Made For?
All BERNINA machines! The majority of the content can be done in a Large Oval or Midi Hoop to ensure that all machines can do the project provided. There will be options for doing projects with bigger hoops, and we will discuss incredible BERNINA features and how they make every project easier. Many projects may even be completed with a bernette embroidery machine, though some of the featured accessories may not be available.
Don't yet own a BERNINA? You may also be able to complete many of the projects and are encouraged to join the club to learn more about embroidery.
June - Socks
This month we'll use the new BERNINA Sock Hoops to make embroidered socks for every occasion.
