There still may be some snafus with receiving our email newsletter but we are making progress! The All Kansas & Nebraska Shop Hop will be here before you know it! We still have a few copies of the magazine that feature a bunch of patterns using the specially designed line of fabric for the hop including a quilt from right here at the Sewing Centre of Lincoln. We can't wait to see all of you at National Quilting Day at the International Quilting Museum On March 21. It's a wonderful annual event with free admission! We'll have some machines to try out, goodies and lots of inspiration for you!

Quilted Jacket - This pattern has 3 pieces and is super easy to make! You can use an old quilt, make a quilt or just use pre-printed fabric that you quilt to bring to class. You can add a collar, a zipper, pockets and make the coat in 3 different lengths. The pattern we will used is called "The Elemental Jacket" pattern. Bring along some Pattern Ease tracing cloth unless you want to cut up your pattern!

For your Quilt sandwich
- You may use a premade small table cover or fat quarters that are at least 12" by 20"
- Use a low loft batting
- It is preferred that you spray baste the sandwich
- The backing/batting needs to be at least 4 inches larger than the quilt top so it will be 2 inches bigger all around.

What Machine(s) Is This Club Made For?
All BERNINA machines! The majority of the content can be done in a Large Oval or Midi Hoop to ensure that all machines can do the project provided. There will be options for doing projects with bigger hoops, and we will discuss incredible BERNINA features and how they make every project easier. Many projects may even be completed with a bernette embroidery machine, though some of the featured accessories may not be available.
Don't yet own a BERNINA? You may also be able to complete many of the projects and are encouraged to join the club to learn more about embroidery.
