Quilting in Your Embroidery Hoop for Beginners

Items you will need to bring to class are:
*Amelie Scott Book
Sewing Machine
Embroidery Module
Large Oval Hoop
*USB Stick (Download Amelie Scott Designs before class)
*thread either Polyester (Embroidery or other) or Cotton
*Needles either Embroidery or Universal size 12 or 14
Quilt Sandwich - See notes below
*Poly Mesh Cut Away or Print & Stick Target paper
*Marking Tools
6 to 12" Ruler
Black fine point felt tip pen
4 pins
Gorilla Mounting Putty - Supplied by teacher
*Double stick tape

For your Quilt sandwich
You may use a premade small table cover or fat quarters that are at least 12" by 20"
Use a low loft batting
It is preferred that you spray baste the sandwich
The backing/batting needs to be at least 4 inches larger than the quilt top so it will be 2 inches bigger all around.
